About Sheilah Crowley
As the Founder of The House of Launch, I know firsthand how challenging career transitions can feel — whether you’re entering the workforce for the first time or returning after time away.
That experience led me to create two coaching programs:
LaunchU for graduates and early-career professionals navigating the transition into the working world.
NextLaunch for professionals returning to work and rebuilding career confidence after time away.
For more than 13 years, I’ve helped clients translate their backgrounds, strengths, and experiences into professional identities the modern workforce values.
As the co-founder of CSR Talent Group, a marketplace connecting experts with Fortune 500 leaders, I’ve worked on both sides of the hiring table and bring real-world market insight into every coaching engagement.
My background includes leadership roles in corporate staffing, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit management. I’m NYU-trained and certified through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The work that matters most to me is helping people gain agency for recognizing their value and move toward futures that feel both purposeful and possible.
Across both LaunchU and NextLaunch, my approach centers on:
Active Listening: Meeting clients where they are with empathy, curiosity, and respect
Asset Discovery: Helping clients uncover strengths that may not fit traditional career narratives.
Market Insight: Translating hiring realities into practical, actionable guidance.
Results-Driven Support: Helping clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and ownership of their professional story.
Both programs are strengthened by advisory communities made up of former clients, graduates, parents, and professionals who have successfully navigated career transitions themselves and are committed to paying their experience forward.
My Foundation
I hold a BA in Anthropology from University of Vermont, a coaching certification from New York University, and I am ICF Certified. This combination of social science, coaching, lived experience, and active entrepreneurship allows me to bridge the gap between human behavior and market demands.
I’m also someone who returned to work after stepping away from a traditional career path, so I understand firsthand the identity shifts, uncertainty, and courage that career transitions can require.
On a personal note, I’m the mother of two young adults currently navigating their own successful paths in New York City. I understand the stakes — as a professional strategist, a business founder, a parent, and someone who has personally navigated the return-to-work journey.
“Very few people meet their destinies by sitting in pretty book-lined rooms marinating in their own aspiration and fear.”
